Environmental Scientist/Grants Management Specialist
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience with or supporting federal and/or state agencies, NGOs and grant applicants.
- Experience with creating templates, guidelines, checklists, and other artifacts to establish repeatable processes for Quality Assurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to a wide variety of project stakeholders.
- The ability to solve problems using critical thinking and to complete tasks with consideration to their own and the team's safety.
- Capable of writing reports at the professional level.
- Ability to assist with agency and client coordination.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experienced at working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team atmosphere and independently as required.
- Must have the willingness to learn new skills.
- Conscientious, organized, and disciplined.
Education and Experience
- The ideal candidate will have at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in communications, grants management, environmental science, environmental studies, or related field.
- Technical writing and critical review experience
