HYDRAULIC MODELLING DISCIPLINE LEAD / PRINCIPAL MODELLER

The opportunity | Ko te āheinga

Due to some significant project wins and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking to expand our modelling team with a new Hydraulic Modelling Discipline Lead role. A dual opportunity, the Discipline Lead role will be performed in conjunction with your position as a Principal Modeller.

At Stantec, we are proud to be one of the few engineering consultancies in the country with in-house expertise in all disciplines required for three waters network planning. We provide a comprehensive array of services to support communities—encompassing hydraulic modelling, innovative conceptual planning, investigations and optioneering, asset management, and system enhancement. 

To be successful as Hydraulic Modelling Discipline Lead, you will not only bring your technical expertise but also a passion for mentoring and development of staff. We have a team of dedicated, high-performing, experienced professionals who are excellent at what they do; we are looking for someone with those same qualities to lead them.

Below is a snapshot of your key responsibilities as Hydraulic Modelling Discipline Lead:

·       Ensuring workloads and resourcing are managed and utilised effectively.

·       Technical development of hydraulic modelling team members.

·       Coordinating the development and use of materials and tools to improve delivery efficiency.

·       Contributing to hands-on technical project work.

·       Being the key point of contact for our clients.
