About the role

The Environment & Geosciences team in Perth are looking for a Proposals Coordinator with strong proposals experience to join the team. In this role, you will support and assist the Business Leader in various business development activities. You will also collaborate with a team of experienced environmental scientists and proposal specialists to create high-quality proposals / fee estimates and other business development materials that meet the clients' needs and expectations. You will demonstrate your skills in time management, communication, and attention to detail in this role.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Coordinate & develop capability and opportunity (proposal) documents
  • Coordinate the proposal and fee estimate process, assigning tasks/timelines etc.
  • Build strong relationships with campaign and business development managers and other key staff, working together to build the Stantec business.
  • Create, develop and maintain materials and supporting information.
  • Maintain appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices.
  • Lead, promote and contribute to a sense of community fun and team spirit with the team.
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Business Leader and Project Manager

To be successful for this role you'll need: 

  • Tertiary qualification in similar sector or an equivalent combination of education & related experience.
  • Ideally have experience in an engineering consultancy, construction or design sector background
  • Be accountable and drive quality by updating system and adhering to Stantec’s style guide
  • Manage own workflow/outputs, within business priorities.
  • Always looking to be adding value to a specific opportunity, business centre operation.
  • Have strong MS Office Skills, proficient in Excel.
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and good attention to detail.
