As the Pursuits Team Lead, you will guide and oversee our national pursuit team in Australia to prioritise and resource major and strategic tenders across Infrastructure, Water, Buildings, Environment and Geosciences and Energy and Resources sectors.

You will play an integral role in the development and execution of Major proposals, presentations and supporting materials using applicable tools, guidelines, and templates (Word & InDesign). As trusted advisors, our team collaborates with business development, designers, engineers, scientists, planners, and project managers across the company to promote our brand, and our projects which advance the quality of life in communities around the world.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Leading a team across Australia to deliver high quality pursuits and tenders

  • Review and implement bestpractice bids & proposals management frameworks and tools.

  • Working closely with Regional Directors, Growth Leaders and Business Leaders to strategically prioritise opportunities

  • Support integration strategies and wholeofbusiness sales approaches.

  • Managing proposals and advising on development of proposal documents including win strategies and win themes.  Develop campaign plans in collaboration with        relevant pursuit leads and technical staff

  • Lead proposals for large campaigns as needed, including some level of proposal writing and submission preparation

  • Collecting company data and conducting internal and external research as appropriate for opportunity response documents and strategy development

  • Ensuring marketing systems and tools are regularly updated with BD, pursuit, marketing and pre-qualification materials

  • Developing appropriate networks within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices, etc. between offices.

  • Supporting broader corporate marketing and business development activities including brand positioning, client engagement, business development and                      promotional activities, which may include writing, design, editing or other activities as necessary.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • 15+ years’ related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience

  • Lead key proposals through the entire pursuit lifecycle from initiation to submission.

  • Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related area preferred

  • Experience in the Engineering / Construction / Architecture or other professional services industry is preferred but not essential

  • Detail-oriented and highly organised with exceptional prioritisation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and        across geographies

  • Drive innovation in efficiency, quality, and delivery
