Senior Project Manager - Offshore Wind

Manage offshore wind projects with complex teams consisting of in-house professional scientists and engineers and strategic teaming partners and sub-consultants. Capitalize on existing client relationships to expand Stantec’s profile and market share in the offshore wind regional market, primarily through excellence in technical delivery. Support business development activities conducted by the Offshore Wind Sector Leader and Offshore Wind Team including participation in the development of technical proposals for offshore wind projects. Direct and prepare scoping approaches, initial studies, Environmental Impact Reports, Environmental Assessments, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Site Assessment and Construction and Operation Plans, Federal and State permitting, Environmental Impact Statements, and supporting technical studies. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. Lead the management of project-related staff performance, and mentoring personnel for the overall success of the practice team. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). The salary range is $100,200 - $160,000 per year.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Must have a minimum of 10 years of environmental planning and permitting experience successfully coordinating and managing Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and NEPA document preparation and environmental permitting and a bachelor’s degree in planning, natural resources, environmental science, biological science, ecology, or related field with a master’s degree preferred. Of the required experience, the candidate must have experience with offshore wind feasibility studies, Site Assessment and Construction and Operation Plans, and proven major project experience for large programs/contracts and client relationships supported by repeat business. Established relationships and contacts in the Gulf Coast/Southern Region is preferred. Stantec will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
