About the role

Our Transport Planning and Advisory team partners with its clients to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community and we currently seek an experienced Senior Transport Engineer to join our team based in Sydney. You will be working as part of a dedicated transport team on a range of projects and will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient transport engineering services.

 

As a Senior Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking and delegating a range of responsibilities, from; project management, complex problem solving and innovation, information analysis, SIDRA analytics, report writing and client engagement and liaison. You will work within the transport engineering team both in Sydney and nationally. This will see you work with some of the foremost traffic and transport experts in Australia. Projects vary in size and type which presents a variety of projects and work with a large and passionate group of professionals.  We are currently working on some exciting projects that include:

  • Social Infrastructure
  • Flagship Retail
  • Major urban infill
  • Growth area master planning
  • Rail and Road Infrastructure
  • Stadia and major event planning
  •  A range of commercial, retail, residential and industrial land uses.

   

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or transport
  • Minimum 6 years of previous experience working within a traffic engineering capacity and familiarity with appropriate software such as SIDRA.
  • Experience of working in a consulting environment or for local/ state government in a similar role.
  •  A good working knowledge of best practice standards, guidelines, current trends and legislation in order to deliver innovative and practical traffic and transport solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to strongly, confidently and succinctly present traffic and transport issues and results of analysis to a wide audience.
