The opportunity
Our Transport and Community Development teams continue to deliver some of New Zealand’s most iconic and city-shaping projects. These projects provide accessible and reliable transport options, support resilient communities, and help move people and freight from A to B. Our team is proud to work with local authorities and councils on projects spanning state highways, rail, road safety, disaster preparedness, asset management, We’re focused on futureproofing our infrastructure and creating smarter, more connected choices for our clients and communities.
We need a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic person to join our Auckland office as a Transport Administrator. This role is also responsible for the Community Development team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in administration and/or customer service who enjoys being organised, proactive, and working as part of a busy team. You’ll play an important role in providing proactive support across these areas, helping keep things running smoothly and ensuring our teams have the support they need to deliver for our clients.
Snapshot of key responsibilities
· Provide proactive administrative support to the Business Centre including but not limited to coordination of information, reports, and proposals etc.
· Coordinate meetings, events and team activities
· Support daily office and team operations, phone and client enquiries, reception support, document management, and filing.
· Support onboarding/offboarding, including inductions, desk and equipment setup
· Maintain accurate business and project information client database updates, staff information, organisational charts, technical equipment registers, and mileage records.
· Provide marketing and business development support, updating pipeline opportunities and providing collateral information as required.
· Support project and business administration as required, including assisting with project documentation, presentations, reports and other tasks a required

· Strong administration and/or customer service experience.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and information.
· A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
· Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and learning new systems.
· Sound judgement, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
