UK Programme Lead
NATIONWIDE
Due to an internal movement, we are looking to fill the opportunity of the UK Programme Lead opportunity.
The main purpose of this role is to provide single-point programme leadership for UK water programmes delivered by New Zealand teams, acting as the primary interface between UK programme leadership and NZ delivery to ensure continuity, clarity and effective resourcing across geographies.
A typical day will include:
Work with regional directors from New Zealand and UK to support the growth and strengthened capability to meet agreed targets.
Develop a resourcing tool to promote visibility of tasks, due dates, and resource planning across all disciplines.
Work with regional leaders to define a recruitment strategy that aligns with the growth targets.
Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality, Safety & Environment Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
Minimise and control risk by commitment to the Stantec Quality, Health & Safety programs and ensuring proactive use of our project management systems.
To be successful in this role your skills and experience include:
Tertiary qualification. Registered as or working towards being an accredited professional within your discipline.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the infrastructure industry.
Senior programme or project management experience in complex, regulated environments.
Experience working across geographies and time zones.
Strong stakeholder engagement and pragmatic leadership style.
Proven track record in leading teams demonstrated through growth and retention of staff within your team.
Proficient in strategic planning, organising and executing plans.
The position of UK Programme Lead is a function in addition to an employee’s substantive technical/project contribution role.
